argument [TRIANGULATED] signals: 0
What is this?
A ledger that grades whether vendor post-incident remediation commitments actually close — vs. cosmetically close and re-fire as the same-class SLA breach at the next quarterly review. After each vendor incident, the vendor manager enters the remediation commitment text, owning vendor, committed resolution date, and breach-class tag (from the SLA schedule, not subjective). AE applies its autopsy taxonomy when the same SLA clause breaches again: Cosmetic Confidence on the original commitment, Concession Laundering when the remediation language shrank across renewal cycles, Temporal & Transmission Blindness when prior incidents already named the same root-cause class. Ground truth is the vendor manager's own breach log and SLA report — no integration into the vendor's environment. Buyer is the vendor manager / vendor governance lead at a 200-2000 employee enterprise running 30-150 SaaS or services vendors with contractual recurrence-rate metrics. Vendor commitments are genuinely claim-like (vendor is predicting future non-recurrence), making the autopsy taxonomy a native fit rather than a shoehorn.
Why did we consider it?
Vendor remediation commitments are the rare claim-like enterprise artifact where AE's autopsy taxonomy is a native fit, the ground truth lives entirely buyer-side, and no incumbent grades vendor promises rather than vendor posture.
What breaks?
- Violates the <24h feedback loop constraint; SLA breaches and remediation cycles take months or quarters to re-trigger.
- Enterprise TPRM relies on standardized compliance (SOC 2/HITRUST) for liability shielding, not linguistic autopsies of vendor promises.
- Selling to enterprise procurement requires synchronous, heavy B2B sales, which is impossible for a part-time, introverted solo founder.
